McGrath Family
JA BizTown Summer Camp
Grades 4-6
Campers jump start their entrepreneurial spirit through hands-on activities, and team-building games.
- Explore key economic concepts and job readiness skills in preparing for the real world.
- Discover unique personality traits, explore employment soft skills, and build a resume to interview for jobs in The McGrath Family JA BizTown.
- Envision a new business venture by working with a team to create a business plan, product model, and presentation.

- Session 2: Monday, July 20 – Friday, July 24
- Session 3: Monday, August 3 – Friday, August 7

A glimpse into your camper’s week:
- Monday: Discover MY Future – Look inward to create a vision board of your future while learning about investments and an introduction to entrepreneurship.
- Tuesday: Explore MY Future – Dive into entrepreneurship and create a business model while honing your skills at resume building.
- Wednesday: Ready for MY Future – Career interest assessments and exploration to map your road to the future, along with professional in-person interviews to land that dream job.
- Thursday: Finance MY Future – Learn the essentials of money management: credit, loans and interest, and pitch your new business idea to real “sharks”.
- Friday: Imagine MY Future – Participate in the Mission Fed JA Finance Park life simulation and manage a budget for a virtual family!
JA Titan
Grades 9-12
JA Titan invites campers to step into the shoes of a business CEO in a simulation-based learning experience.
- Explore business, economics, and the world of work.
- Understand how business decisions are made and analyze outcomes.
- Develop business strategies through research and innovative thinking.
