Mission Fed JA Finance Park

Mission Fed JA Finance Park helps students build a foundation upon which they can make lifelong intelligent financial decisions, including decisions related to income, expenses, savings, and credit. Volunteers guide groups of 8-12 students through the adult life simulation, where students learn to budget, save, and spend for themselves and their virtual families.

Students can participate in the teacher-led format, or the one-day visit format. The teacher-led format allows teachers to lead their students through 6-13 lessons on financial literacy that culminates in a visit to our Mission Fed JA Finance Park facility. Additional extension activities are available for each theme: Income, Savings, Insurance, and Risk Management, Credit and Debit, and Budgeting. The one-day visit format includes JA staff teaching the financial literacy curriculum on-site during the visit to our Mission Fed JA Finance Park facility.
