Seth De Los Santos began his journey with JA San Diego as a camp counselor three years ago. He is now a senior capstone associate helping to manage the JA Finance Park program. From his time with JA San Diego, Seth has discovered a passion for educating local youth and enjoys helping to prepare students for future financial success.

Seth is currently a student at San Diego State University majoring in business administration and management. He has additionally previously volunteered with the State of California Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program and Boy Scouts of America.

What is your favorite thing about living in San Diego County?
My favorite thing about living in San Diego is the variety of activities available—whether it’s enjoying the beach, exploring the snow in the mountains, or going off-roading, there’s always something exciting to do.

What is your favorite book or movie?
My favorite movie is Surf’s Up because it’s both hilarious and features surfing and the ocean, two things I’m really passionate about.

What do you like to do for fun in your free time?
I love spending my free time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, fishing, or surfing at the beach—I’m always up for an adventure. Being in nature helps me recharge and stay connected to what matters most. I also enjoy hanging out with friends, whether it’s exploring new places or just relaxing together.
