DESCRIPTION:JA for Everyone is a personal budgeting simulation designed to help participants understand the link between lifestyle\, education\, career\, and the management of personal finances in an interactive environment. JA for Everyone at JA Finance Park encourages participants to explore what it takes to balance a budget and manage a life in sunny San Diego and beyond. SUMMARY:Freelance Day in JA BizTown
DESCRIPTION:“Freelance” Day in BizTown is for 4th-6th graders to take part in our McGrath Family JA BizTown program. This provides students the opportunity to join our program and be part of the BizTown community outside of school activities.\nThe McGrath Family JA BizTown is a 10\,000 square foot mini-city where you will discover how to start and run a profitable business. Students will become a BizTown “citizen” and work a job at one of 21 life-sized San Diego businesses. They will earn paychecks\, open bank accounts\, pay taxes\, vote\, and are challenged to earn a profit in your business.\nThe JA BizTown curriculum will be taught via Zoom by JA staff during the months of April and May to prepare for the simulation.
