Join us for our Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame Luncheon as we celebrate the induction of the next class of Lifetime Laureates. These individuals represent business excellence, inspiring leadership, entrepreneurial achievement, and innovation with a mindfulness toward community and philanthropy.

We will celebrate the best in business and philanthropy at the stunning Lodge at Torrey Pines on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. We will be inducting the following individuals into the Hall of Fame:

Peter Seidler | Owner & Chairman, San Diego Padres
Peter Seidler is the Chairman of the San Diego Padres and the lead investor in the ballclub. As a two-time cancer survivor (Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma), Peter and his wife, Sheel, focus their philanthropic activities on health and medical matters, particularly on children impacted by homelessness. They support numerous charities, including The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The American Cancer Society, Home Start (San Diego’s charity targeting the prevention of child abuse) and various health and wellness initiatives at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Peter is a significant donor and a founding member of the Stand Up To Cancer Legacy Endowment Circle and a primary donor to the Lucky Duck Foundation (San Diego’s leading homelessness charity).

Caroline Winn | CEO, San Diego Gas & Electric
Caroline Winn is chief executive officer for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. Sempra is a San Diego-based energy services holding company whose subsidiaries provide electricity, natural gas and value-added products and services. Winn currently serves on the board of directors for Father Joe’s Villages and Monarch School; the executive council for Western Energy Institute; and the director’s council of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. She also serves on the board as an independent director for both Kayne Anderson Energy Infrastructure Fund, Inc. and Kayne Anderson NextGen Energy & Infrastructure, Inc.

Stephanie & Pat Kilkenny | Co-Founders, Lucky Duck Foundation
The Lucky Duck Foundation (LDF) is committed to raising awareness and funds to help alleviate the homelessness epidemic in San Diego County; and providing support and relief from harsh conditions to the thousands of homeless individuals and families living on our streets. LDF’s history is deeply rooted in the San Diego community. For over 15 years, Pat and Stephanie Kilkenny have donated their time, knowledge, and “Share Your Luck” motto with many charitable causes throughout San Diego. And every year they generously match all donations up to $1.5 million.

Dan Shea | CEO, Feeding San Diego
A prominent business and community leader, Dan Shea brings decades of high-level leadership and entrepreneurial experience to Feeding San Diego as Chief Executive Officer. While his lengthy career has spanned roles in hospitality, the automotive industry, and consulting, Dan finds the most fulfillment in the non-profit industry. Drawing from his lived experience with homelessness shortly after college, Dan strives to provide dignified and humane solutions to ensure communities across the county can thrive. Focused on collaboration to achieve bigger outcomes in the non-profit sector, Dan has forged relationships with the San Diego Food Bank to provide meals in as many zip codes of the county as possible and the Comic-Con Museum to develop Hunger Action Heroes to educate the next generation of hunger-relief advocates.
