Students Get a Dose of the Real World Thanks to Junior Achievement & PwC on Tax Day- April 15

National City Mayor Ron Morrison will offer a special recognition to JA volunteers as part of Volunteer Appreciation Month in April.

Students at El Toyon Elementary school in National City will learn the importance of getting a job and paying taxes on Friday, April 15. The event is a part of Junior Achievement’s JA Day program that will put PwC volunteers in the classroom to teach financial literacy lessons to over 485 students in K-6th grades. Intuit Volunteers Bring a Dose of the “Real World” to Fifth- Graders as a part of The McGrath Family JA BizTown Experience

Employees from Intuit Inc., the international leader in the finance software industry, took a break from their day jobs, to impact the lives of 60 fifth grade students by volunteering at the McGrath Family JA BizTown this week.
