Junior Achievement’s Hall of Fame to Celebrate the Best in Business and Philanthropy

The nonprofit will honor four visionary leaders on September 15, 2015

Junior Achievement (JA) of San Diego will induct four visionary leaders into the San Diego Business Hall of Fame on Sept. 15, 2015, at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. The 27th Annual Business Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding business and philanthropic leadership over a career span of service in the San Diego community. This black-tie event will feature dinner, auction and awards presentation for the 2015 Hall of Fame laureates. All proceeds from the event benefit JA’s mission to impact 53,000 students each year by teaching them how to get a job, start a business and how money works. San Diego Students to Compete at Junior Achievement’s National Student Leadership Summit

Teen entrepreneurs will go head-to-head against 14 other teams in Washington, D.C., next month

Junior Achievement (JA) of San Diego students have been selected as one of 15 finalist teams to compete at the Junior Achievement National Student Leadership Summit (NSLS) in Washington, D.C. The students will travel to the nation’s capital for the three-day event, June 22-24, to compete with teen entrepreneurs from across the United States. The San Diego students represent Canyon Crest Academy High in Carmel Valley and founded CCA Today, a school app to inform students of activities and events on school campus. Read More

Enter to Win the first-ever #ImagineSD School Scholarship for Mission Fed JA Finance Park

Calling all 10th Grade High School Teachers

Have you heard about the first-ever #ImagineSD school scholarship to attend Mission Fed JA Finance Park? The #ImagineSD scholarship, sponsored by KUSI’s Brad Perry, will allow one lucky high school class in San Diego County to attend JA’s newest experimental learning center.
