Thanks to the generous support of One San Diego over 100 students from Kimbrough Elementary will receive scholarships to attend the popular McGrath Family JA Biz Town on Friday, June 24

San Diego Mayor Kevin L. Faulconer will be working alongside Kimbrough’s 5th grade Mayor as they run the thriving mini-city for the day. Media is invited to interview students, San Diego Mayor and JA staff Friday, June 24 from 12:10 P.M. – 1:00 P.M.

Junior Achievement and San Ysidro School District join forces to prepare and inspire the next generation of leaders

SAN DIEGO-- Junior Achievement (JA) will host a press conference to announce a new partnership with the San Ysidro School District on Thursday, June 2 from 10 A.M. to 11.30 A.M. at Ocean View Hills Elementary School. San Diego Fluid System Technologies Hosts JA Job Shadow

Poway high students are exposed to the real-world of learning and technology.

San Diego Fluid System Technologies opened their doors for the second year to host a job shadow with a local high school in collaboration with Junior Achievement of San Diego. While spending a day at a business site, students are exposed to real-world of learning and technology. They learn dressing and speaking professionally, being on time and working as a team, are just as important as a strong academic foundation. Read More
