Why is Junior Achievement important to the San Diego community? National surveys show nearly 60 percent of today’s teens don’t think they are ready to financially support themselves by the time they turn 24. Junior Achievement of San Diego is changing this dangerous trend by teaching more than 55,000 students each year to make smart financial decisions and reach their full potential.
What inspires you to work with Junior Achievement? I am inspired by our staff's commitment to provide every San Diego student with the "JA Experience" which teaches them "real-life" skills to succeed in today's challenging world. I am also every excited about our new Mission Fed JA Finance Park (#ImagineSD). The Park teaches our teens how to make smart, effective choices beyond their high school years.
