Why is Junior Achievement important to the San Diego Community?
We give students the tools and knowledge they need to be in control of their future. Our programs offer so many valuable skills and opportunities and for some students, JA may be the only resource they have to receive those life-changing opportunities.
What inspires you to work with Junior Achievement?
I am inspire by our mission to impact 55,000 students each year in K-12 classrooms and preparing them for the real-world by showing how to get a job, start a business and how to manage money. I am honored to work the with JA team that works so diligently to educate the San Diego community about financial and work readiness skills. Nothing is more inspiring than seeing the excited looks on students’ faces when they receive a Junior Achievement program that can help them grow their skills and succeed beyond the classroom.
